FaithDefense is dedicated to creating Christian apologetic content and sharing resources in print and around the web.  Below are some of the helpful resources.  The other pages of this site provide some of the useful technical information and the FaithDefense blog: Apologia Basilica.

APOLOGIA BASILEIAS is Greek for “Defense of the Kingdom.”  We chose this name for the blog because it aptly represents the general purpose of this site as well as the blog itself.

Bookmark the page and come back often as new resources are added and highlighted.  Check out the current events page for apologetic conferences and opportunities.

  • “To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary. To one without faith, no explanation is possible.”

    Thomas Aquinas, Medieval Theologian
  • “I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.”

    C.S. Lewis, Author, Apologist
  • “We made bad use of immortality, and so ended up dying; Christ made good use of mortality, so that we might end up living.”

Augustine of Hippo, On Christian Doctrine
  • “I found it (the word ‘mercy’) occurs 261 times in the Bible-and seventy-two percent of them are in the Old Testament. That’s a three-to-one ratio. Then I studied the word ‘love’ and found it occurs 322 times in the Bible, about half in each testament. So you have the same emphasis on love in both.”

    Norman Geisler, Author and Professor
  • “So I cast my lot with him-not the one who claimed wisdom, Confucius; or the one who claimed enlightenment, Buddha; or the one who claimed to be a prophet, Muhammad, but with the one who claimed to be God in human flesh. The one who declared, ‘Before Abraham was born, I am’ – and proved it.”

    Norman Geisler, Author and Professor
